Sculpture Laboratory is the brainchild of Dr. Blake Ketchum. Dr. Ketchum has had a flair for the sciences and the arts since her childhood. In 1988, Ketchum graduated with a BFA in Figurative Sculpture from the University of Michigan and Sculpture Laboratory was born. At that time, the studio offered a wide range of services from display and colossus exhibit statuary, to fine art, architectural ornament, and sculptures for science centers.

In 1999 Ketchum returned to graduate school earning an M.S. in Forestry from Michigan Technological University, a Certificate in Environmental Biogeochemistry and a Ph.D. in Soil Science from Washington State University, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Penn State University.

With almost two decades of hands-on experience in the arts and the sciences, Dr. Ketchum and the Sculpture Laboratory Associates have exactly what it takes to deliver spectacular exhibition statuary that accurately and clearly communicates your scientific ideas.
