Portrait Sculpture
Blake Ketchum began sculpting portraits when she was 12 years old. She has been commissioned portraits from numerous public and private clients including the Association of Yale Alumni and Cornell University.

Current Project. Mrs. Anna Johnson in progress. The towel is to keep the clay moist and will not be a part of the finished work. This is how a portrait looks after about 8 hours of sculpting: the foundation of a likeness, an established gesture, but no hair yet.
